We still love the Dawgs

Our original plans for today included having friends over to watch the SEC game with us.  However, Robby ended up getting some tickets from work so the guys went to the game and the girls came over with the kids.  It was a fun and busy evening.  We had the game on in the background, but chasing after all the little ones kept us pretty busy.  The stairs (without a gate) and the Christmas tree ornaments were the main attraction for the toddlers in attendance.  I forgot how busy they can be! After the outcome of the game though, we were pretty glad that we didn't spend too much time glued to the TV.  Even though we didn't win, we still love our Dawgs and are happy about our great season!

Parker was cracking us up as we tried to get a pic of the boys together.  Hudson was so tired tonight that he didn't seem to mind though.

Taken by Handley
Speaking of our Christmas tree, we met Robby after work last night at the local Home Depot to pick the perfect tree.  Because it was so dark the girls thought it was really late and loved our little adventure.

We decorated the tree this morning and it really feels (and smells) like Christmas in our house now.  All day Handley has been examining the ornaments and pointing out her favorites.  I had promised her last night that she could be the one to put the star on the top.  I meant to have Robby hold her up there before he left for the game, but we all forgot about it so I was left to do that myself.  As I was standing on the step-stool and trying to hold her high enough she said, "Maybe we should just wait for Daddy." Ha! Thankfully we didn't knock the whole thing over.

Ha! Handley's "wait for daddy" comment cracked me up. Hendley is all the time saying stuff like that.

Kids looked mighty cute in their UGA gear. And OH MY WORD, Hudson is on fast forward all of a sudden. He is growing in a hurry! Still adorable, though. Thankfully as that does help soften the blow!
