A Full day of Water Fun

We had a day full of water fun.  This morning we met friends at a splash park.  It was really overcast and not the best weather.  Most of the kids were complaining of being cold, but they still had fun running around and splashing.  Hudson was LOVING it.  He was so excited to be there and have the freedom to just run and play.  He didn't want to take a break to eat lunch, but after a quick picnic they were all back in the water for more fun.

It's only $1 to get into the splash park so we will definitely be heading back there sometime this summer.

Apparently my three didn't get enough of the water because on the way home they were asking me if we could go straight to our neighborhood pool.  We compromised by going home so Hudson could nap and then heading to the pool after rest time.  We were the only ones there so we had the whole pool to ourselves.  We had SO much fun.  I helped the girls learn to flip under water, practice their dives and work on some of their technique.  Hudson was a little upset that I was making him share my attention, but he got plenty of jumping time in, too.

He really is getting super comfortable with the water and just loves jumping in over and over and over. He doesn't want to be outdone by the girls.  When they jump in, he wants to jump in.  When they are swimming, he wants to be swimming.  AND they wear goggles so he must wear goggles, too! He had me put these on as soon as we got to the pool and kept them on the entire time.  I think he just looks so cute!

That is so cute! Hudson & Cohen would be great friends with their goggles! That is her must-have pool accessory!
