Sophia is here!

My beautiful niece, Sophia, was born on Friday morning!  She's such a sweet little bitty thing and weighed 6 lbs. 2 oz. when she was born.  Sophia was breech so Stefanie had a scheduled c-section and we were all anxiously awaiting the text with pictures and stats that morning.  Everything went smoothly and they are all doing great.

Sophia is so beautiful.  Robby and I went to visit them in the hospital last night and I loved getting to hold and rock her.  It's so hard to remember my own kids as newborns so I soaked up every second.  Trey and Stefanie are proud new parents and I am so happy for them.

The girls were thrilled to see pictures and hear all about their new cousin.  They were even more excited when they learned that they could go to the hospital and see her in person today.  I took them this afternoon while Hudson napped.  For months every time we were going to see Stefanie Harper would ask if Sophia was out of Stefanie's belly yet.  When we walked in and they actually saw her I think she was a little nervous because she didn't say much at first, but kept looking at Sophia and trying to make sense of it all.  Handley couldn't get enough of checking her out and kept measuring how tiny Sophia's head was with her hand. 

After we left they asked me why we couldn't stay longer and wanted to know when we can see her again. I'm so happy that they live so close so we will be able to stop by and love on her lots!

My parents were in town all weekend for the big event and it wasn't until they left this morning that I pulled out my camera to snap a picture of them with the kids.  We can't wait for them to come back in just about a month for Harper's birthday!
