Lambie

Handley has a little blanket that she sleeps that we call Lambie and she calls "na-na." Lambie used to stay in the crib or in her room and she only had her during naps or at night. However, Handley is becoming more and more attached to her. She likes to know where Lambie is all of the time. She'll be in the middle of playing and just get up looking around and calling out "na-na, na-na." Lambie makes everything better.

Last night Handley got very upset because I wouldn't let Lambie get in the bath with her. Lambie was sitting right beside the bathtub where Handley could see her, but that wasn't good enough. I think that was the shortest bath Handley has ever taken because all she wanted to do was get out and get "na-na."

Today she was looking for her and I told her to check her room. She came back with all 3 of her clean Lambies (we have 4 total). She was SO happy and just in heaven to be surrounded by all her "na-nas."

Katie Anne has the same exact lamb... we have two of them. She isn't as attached as Handley, but she does love them and keeps one in her crib and one out for carrying around. She also has a mouse one that she calls "Mo", which she loves and took to daycare today... unfortunately, I just realized as I'm typing this that "Mo" never made it home! Guess I better check on Mo's status at daycare in the morning.
