Harper's 2nd Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Harper's 2nd birthday at her Mickey Mouse themed party.  She has been talking about her party for a few weeks now and was beside herself with excitement today!

I had decided that having a party outside of the house would be easier on me this year and that Gymboree would be the perfect place for a 2 year old party.  It's small and geared towards younger kids and I couldn't have picked a better place.

My friend and neighbor, Christy made all of the goodies for the party.  Everyone raves over her sweet treats and today was no exception.  How cute are these Mickey cookies?!?!

Harper LOVED every second of her party and literally did not stop running around the entire time we were there.  I tried to keep the party small and just include our playgroup, her close toddler-age friends and their siblings.  It was a fun group of kids and they all seeemed to have tons of fun!  The instructor for the party had the kids singing, dancing, and playing all sorts of fun games.  She was fantastic!   

Harper was so happy to have all of her close friends at her party.  These are her very best friends, twins, Jake and Reece.  She talks about them non-stop and had such fun playing with them at her party today.

After playing it was time for pizza and cake.  The kids had all worked up quite an appetite. 

Harper enjoyed everyone singing Happy Birthday to her and excitedly blew out her candles so she could dig in to her cupcake.

After the party we came back home to open the gifts and the girls dug into a few more sweets before calling it a night.

It was a fantastic day and I couldn't have asked for a better party for our sweet little girl.  A BIG thanks to everyone who was there to help us celebrate.  Tomorrow is her real birthday so we will be having more birthday fun then too!
